Experience deep tranquillity together with a shared 60-minute floatation session for two people in our state-of-the-art Orbit / Exo floatation pod. This spacious pod allows you and your partner, friend or loved one to float side-by-side, creating the perfect environment to relax, reconnect, and enjoy a peaceful, shared wellness experience.
As you enter the warm, skin-temperature water infused with over 500kg of premium Epsom salts, you will both experience effortless buoyancy, weightlessness and the soothing benefits of sensory reduction. The outside world fades away as your mind and body reset in harmony.
Perfect for special occasions or simply enjoying one hour of deep peace together, this couples float offers a calming and restorative shared experience you will never forget.
For those dealing with claustrophobia, rest assured, you have the option to keep the lid open and the light on during your session. While this may mitigate the sensory deprivation aspect, you will still reap the benefits from the salts and the overall relaxation experience.
To ensure the best experience, we suggest avoiding the consumption of coffee or beverages high in sugar for a few hours before your floatation session. Additionally, we advise against shaving body hair prior to floating. To enhance your comfort, we provide all the necessary amenities for your floatation session including earplugs, towels (subject to a £2 laundry charge), body wash, and a hairdryer. We enforce a strict policy of no individuals under the age of 18.Located within the Redmayne Lodge complimentary therapy centre, Yorkshire Floatation Centre operates two floatation rooms and an infrared sauna. Sessions are designed to help clients unwind with sensory deprivation and heat-based treatments, with the centre also offering the likes of colonic hydrotherapy, reflexology, Swedish massage and more.
