What You'll Get

Begin your journey into the realm of sensory deprivation

Start with a 15-minute consultation and instructional guide to acquaint you with the operation of our state-of-the-art floatation pod.

This prepares you for an immersive 60-minute Floatation Therapy experience.

What is Floatation Therapy?

Floatation Therapy, also known as Sensory Deprivation, is a tranquil process where you lie back in a specially designed pod filled with skin-temperature water. This water is saturated with a potent 700kg solution of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate), creating an environment that allows your body to float effortlessly.

Our enriched Epsom salt blend infuses your body with essential minerals, helping to dissolve tension, instil deep relaxation, and unlock a sense of vibrant energy within you.

Our Pods

We've designed our pods to be both soundproof and lightproof, ensuring an optimal environment for complete relaxation. This sensory isolation allows your mind to detach from the constant influx of sensory stimuli, enhancing your cognitive abilities and fostering mindfulness and introspection.

Health Benefits of Floatation Therapy

Our Floatation Therapy is not only a perfect retreat from the world but also beneficial for specific health conditions. The high magnesium content in the Epsom salt solution is particularly beneficial for conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue, Eczema, Psoriasis, and Arthritic pain. So come and embrace the tranquil and healing power of our Floatation Therapy.

When you're floating in the tank, your body isn't subjected to the usual pressures of gravity. This can help relieve tension and strain on muscles, joints, and bones, which may be beneficial during recovery from certain injuries.

How Floatation Therapy aids in injury recovery:

  • Reduced Pressure: The buoyancy experienced during floatation therapy can take pressure off strained muscles and joints. This might provide some immediate relief from pain and potentially aid the healing process by allowing the body to relax and recover.
  • Increased Blood Flow: The relaxation experienced during floatation therapy may also lead to vasodilation, or the widening of blood vessels. This can increase blood flow and deliver more oxygen and nutrients to the injured areas, which are essential for tissue repair and healing.
  • Stress Reduction: Floatation therapy is known for its calming and stress-reducing effects. High levels of stress can slow the healing process, so anything that reduces stress might potentially aid recovery.
  • Magnesium Sulphate Absorption: The Epsom salts used in the tanks are a source of magnesium, which can be absorbed through the skin. Magnesium plays several roles in the body, including muscle and nerve function, and some suggest it could aid recovery (though the evidence is not strong on this point).
  • Improved Sleep: Many people report better sleep after floatation therapy. Since sleep is when a lot of healing and recovery happens, this might indirectly aid injury recovery.

Good to Know

For those dealing with claustrophobia, rest assured, you have the option to keep the lid open and the light on during your session. While this may mitigate the sensory deprivation aspect, you will still reap the benefits from the salts and the overall relaxation experience.

To ensure the best experience, we suggest avoiding the consumption of coffee or beverages high in sugar for a few hours before your floatation session. Additionally, we advise against shaving body hair prior to floating.

To enhance your comfort, we provide all the necessary amenities for your floatation session including earplugs, towels (subject to a £2 laundry charge), body wash, and a hairdryer.

We enforce a strict policy of no individuals under the age of 18.
